
We often damage our hair unknowingly. We expose them to high temperatures, style them every day, and tug them furiously when we try to comb them. In addition, there are external factors, such as frost, heat or wind, and even air pollution, or the fact that we live in a constant run, so our diet is poor, which is what our entire body suffers from. First of all, it is worth emphasizing that hair care – not only damaged hair, but hair in general – should start in the kitchen. And it is literally. The basic building block of hair is protein, but also necessary are: iron, zinc and vitamin A. It would be good to introduce products rich in these ingredients into your daily diet. The proteins themselves, in turn, are often included in special cosmetics whose task is to intensively care for the hair and nourish it.

If you notice that your hair is damaged, it is better to say goodbye to treatments such as permanent wave, lightening or even simple dyeing for a while. They all open the cuticles of the hair and thus expose it to dryness and breakage. When everyday hair care becomes a habit, it will also be good to think about additional ways to take it straight.
One of such methods is oiling. You can make them yourself at home, using appropriate cosmetics or using, for example, coconut oil. It will smooth the hair structure and close the cuticles so that they can retain their hydration. Another method that combines hair oiling with nutrition is a homemade egg mask. You need to add a little olive oil to the beaten egg, then put it on your hair and wait for max. half-hour.
Proper hair care will not bring the desired effect if we work on split, dry and broken strands. Therefore, it is worth making an appointment to the hairdresser to have the ends trimmed. If it is difficult to part with long hair, you can treat it as a longer process and trim it successively every month so that it gradually regains its shine without losing too much length.
